The production of cocoa powder requires both fine and consistent particle size as well as stable physical properties to ensure reliable handling and storage. Without proper stabilization, cocoa powder tends to agglomerate, leading to processing challenges and inconsistent product behavior.

The cocoa powder treatment system CPTS combines precise grinding with controlled batch stabilization. A powder mill ensures efficient and accurate particle size reduction, producing fine cocoa powder with a defined particle size distribution.

In the subsequent batch process, the powder is treated with cooled air under controlled conditions. The cooling process stabilizes the powder after grinding and ensures uniform product conditioning. Integrated bacterial filtration maintains hygienic air quality during processing.

Batch operation with defined process parameters such as air flow, temperature, and process duration enables reproducible operation and full traceability. This results in a stable, free-flowing, and process-ready cocoa powder suitable for storage and further processing.
